Part of what I do for a living is help other people become better writers. I’m not a teacher (yet) officially, but it’s always been in my nature to help others become they best at what they are endeavoring. When it comes to my own writing, I could always use a little more practice, and for something I used to love doing, I don’t do it enough. So rather than just coming up with writing topics and telling my friends about them, I’m going to try to get some real mileage here.
If you spend any time with me at all, you’ll see I’m not a perfectionist. I was once told that I could never be a copy editor, because you have to have been born one (I can never hear “dyed in the wool” without thinking of that conversation) and I apparently was not. So I hope my readers will see past any flaws in grammar, even though I do try my best. Usually.
And while I have a tendency at times to carry on and on (although I’m an expert in helping students rewrite too-long sentences) I think my short attention span balances that out.
I hope you enjoy my thoughts…
Hello Jenny! I enjoyed reading your blog entries. The Fed Ex one was hilarious!
S.
thanks for reading!!
Jennnnnyy! It’s Brandy! I searched everywhere for a link to follow you and ended up setting up my own account to see if that would help, but I’m still lost. 😦 Where is this camouflaged button?
Never mind! I think I just found it! Unless subscribing is not the same thing as following?
Write more, please. Also, love your background pic of my fav bridge 🙂
I’m now a follower. No pressure. Will you be posting the book chapter by chapter? Word by word? You lead. I will follow.
